Melissa Hickey is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Student. She is an intake worker and practicum student at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (OICBT) currently receiving consultation by Dr. Natasha Ballen. Additionally, she is a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She aims to create a calm and supportive environment by developing a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. Melissa utilizes a strength-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach in her clinical practice.
