Kimberly Turner is a sixth year PhD candidate in the clinical psychology program at the University of Ottawa. She is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship at the Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (OICBT). She uses an integrative approach drawing on her experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Ms. Turner provides assessment and individual and group intervention services. She works with clients with a range of concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive and compulsive disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and personality disorders. Her approach is based on the research evidence and highly tailored to the individual needs and strengths of each of her clients.
