Dr. Angela Priede

CBT Therapist

Dr. Angela Priede is a clinical psychologist in supervised practice. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa in 2024; however, she has been providing psychological services since 2015 in a variety of hospital and community mental health settings. Angela’s clinical practice adheres to rigorous standards under the supervision of Dr. Natasha Ballen and Dr. François Rousseau. Angela adopts a flexible, collaborative approach, integrating evidence-based methods to meet clients’ unique needs and preferences. She fosters a warm and supportive environment encouraging exploration of clients’ experiences without fear of judgment. Emphasizing empathy, active listening, and effective communication, she aims to enhance interpersonal and emotional skills, self-esteem, coping mechanisms, and symptom reduction. Committed to personal and professional growth, Angela regularly pursues knowledge and educational opportunities to maintain high standards of care. Areas of special interest include interpersonal and relational issues, sexuality and intimacy, schemas/core beliefs, and trauma-processing.
