Dr. Dhrasti Shah is a Clinical and Health psychologist with experience providing psychological assessment and therapy services to adults. She uses research based therapies and works with you to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs. Dr. Shah specializes in cognitive behavioural and dialectical behaviour therapy. She treats a variety of problems, including worry/generalized anxiety disorder, health anxiety, PTSD and related difficulties, social anxiety, stress related to life transitions, grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and sleep difficulties. Dr. Shah has an interest in health-related difficulties and adjustment to acute and chronic medical problems. Dr. Shah conveys a warm presence with genuine curiosity and compassion. Dr. Shah is dedicated to helping strengthen your self-understanding, -acceptance and -compassion to build resiliency in managing life circumstances, engage in meaningful, fulfilling activities and build a connection with yourself and others.
